教前思 In this unit, I’ll put emphasis on the different uses of “was, were, wasn’t, weren’t”. After that, I think it’s not difficult for students to understand the new lesson.
一 Warming up and Revision
Repeat the poem from unit 2 of Module 6 .
Write the names of some countries and their capital cities on the board. Teacher call out the names of some countries and the students guess theirs capital cities.
二Leading in
Look at this map “Where is it ?” In the holidays, I was in Hainan, do you want to know where are Smarts in holidays?
三Listening reading activities
1. Listen to the tape
Elicit as much information about this letter as teacher can by asking questions.
Play the cassette again.
Listen and repeat.
2.This is a song that practices before or now.
Play the cassette.
Repeat.
Teach the song line by line.
Divide the class into two groups. One group will sing the role of the older pig, the other will sing the role of the younger pig.
Play the cassette again.
四Further development
Show two photos to compare.
Make a small a short essay “To be brought up.”
五Homework
Write a letter or email “ My holiday ”.
利用多媒體或圖片展示單詞,在一定程度上提高學生的記憶效率。將生詞用彩筆板書或字型放大,這些小技巧也會給學生一個鮮明的視覺刺激,收到不錯的教學效果。
第二課時
一、 教學目標與要求
1、 知識與能力目標
使學生能熟練掌握生詞 flatyesterday.能熟練并能在真實情景中運用waswasn’twereweren’t 來描述過去發生的動作和事情。
2、 情感態度目標
提高學生的小組合作精神和學生的自學能力。培養學生多與朋友溝通與交流的能力。
二、 教學重點及難點
學生對過去是動詞及其否定形式的掌握及如何運用重點句型來描述過去發生的事情。
