教學目標:
語言知識目標
1.學習單詞:break(broke),hear,lesson,heavy,light,carry等。
2.學習句型:He broke his leg. I’m sorry to hear that.
What can we do to help him? We can …。
The basket is heavy/light.
3.復習鞏固元音字母a,e,i,o,u在閉音節中的發音。
4.功能:建議與提供幫助。

1.能認讀所學詞語及句型。
2.能根據課文掛圖及詞語的提示,聽懂課文錄音材料。
3.能運用所學語言完成有關情景的對話活動。
情感態度
互幫互助,樂于助人。
重點難點:
1.學習單詞:break(broke),hear,lesson,heavy,light,carry等。
2.學習句型:He broke his leg. I’m sorry to hear that.

教具準備:
1.五個元音字母的卡片和本課新單詞卡片。
2.課文掛圖。
3.一個籃子。
4.錄音機或多媒體教學光盤。
教學過程:
Step 1 Warming up
1.師生互致問候。
2.師生進行問答練習。如
Good morning/afternoon.
How are you?
Did you go anywhere in winter?
What did you do there?
How was the weather there?
3.教師播放歌曲:The More We Get Together。請學生欣賞歌曲,然后出示歌詞中的一句話:Your friends are my friends. My friends are your friends.告訴學生,我們所有的人生活在一個大家庭里,應該互幫互助——Helping Each Other。
4.揭示課題并板書:Unit 2 Helping Each Other Part A。
Step 2 Presentation
(一)初讀課文,理解課文內容
1.出示課文的三幅掛圖,教師根據圖中內容,邊說邊板書下列句子
Sally,Ma Li and Yang Ming are talking about .
Wang Tao is in now.
They want to go to .
They want to take with them.
The basket is .
will carry it.
2.請學生自讀課文對話,然后完成填空練習。
3.教師現場完成練習,學生核對,理解本課大意。
(二)教學課文內容
1.教學課文第一段的生詞與句子。
(1)教師說:“Wang Tao didn’t come to school today. He’s in hospital now. What happened?”然后播放課文第一段錄音,請學生在包含答案的句子下面畫線。
(2)請學生根據對話內容、圖片和教師的動作猜測單詞broke的含義。教師告訴學生broke是動詞break的過去式,然后出示單詞卡片教學break和broke。
請學生回憶一下,單詞break與哪個單詞的形接近,通過單詞bread來幫助學生記憶break的形。
(3)學習句子He broke his leg.可以請學生來說說類似的句子,如:
He broke his arm.(他胳膊摔壞了。)
I broke a cup yesterday.(昨天我打碎了一個茶杯。)
She broke her glasses this morning.(今天上午她摔壞了眼鏡。)
(4)出示句子I’m sorry to hear that.教學單詞hear。
教師出示單詞ear,near,bear,wear等,請學生讀一讀,說出ear的兩種發音/I?/和/e?/,然后教師示范讀句子:I’m sorry to hear that.請學生聽一聽,hear中的ear發什么音。
2.教學課文第二段的生詞與句子。
(1)教師說:“Wang Tao broke his leg. Now his classmates want to see him. What can they do to help him?”然后播放課文第二段錄音,學生模仿跟讀,并找出答案。
(2)由Sally的話:We can take some fruits with us.問問學生有沒有其他建議,請學生自由說,如:
We can take some milk with us.
We can take some flowers with us.
We can take some story books with us.
(3)由Yang Ming的話:We can help him with his lessons.教學單詞lesson和lessons。
(4)情感教育:教育學生,當別人有困難時,我們要熱心幫助,要有樂于助人的好品質。
