教學過程：

　　一、復習導入

　　1.師生互相問好。

　　2.復習前幾課中所學過的有關病痛的單詞。教師說出單詞后，學生做動作。最后，教師領讀單詞，學生跟讀。

　　二、新授

　　1.聽課文錄音兩遍，要求學生聽完后，就所聽內容回答問題：What are Helen and Linda going to do after school? What’s wrong with Tom?

　　2.課文的第一部分

　　—What are you going to do after school,Linda?

　　—Tom is ill in bed. We are going to see him.

　　3.課文的第二部分

　　—I’m sorry to hear that.

　　三、鞏固練習

　　1.操練詞組：ill in bed,after school, hear。教師出示單詞圖片，學生熟讀單詞。

　　2.操練What are you going to do after school?We are going to see him.

　　3.操練I’m sorry to hear that.教師可擴展此句。I’m sorry to know that./ I’m sorry to see that./…

　　四、作業
