教學背景:
小學英語教學是以有很強的情境性的日常交流語言為主的,六年級的學生注意力和穩定性比較好,這就要求老師從學生已有的知識水平和生活經驗出發,讓學生主動探究,自己去發現問題,進而解決問題,培養學生的語言運用能力,注重知識的趣味性和文化意識,讓學生學會自主學習,培養學生的創新能力。作為一名小學英語教師,應該依據新課改的精神,遵循《英語課程標準》,針對大多數少年兒童口語交際能力薄弱的現狀,找到符合學生身心發展特點和教育規律的方法,使學生生動活潑,積極主動地得到發展,這才能提高小學生英語水平及語言交流的能力。
教材分析:
這是外語教學與研究出版社編寫的 ---- 新標準教材,第七冊Module 9 ,Unit 2 Do you want to go to Guilin? 第二課時的內容。本課時的教學內容貼近學生的生活和學習實際,并配有生動、活潑、富有情趣的插圖,可以激發學生學習的興趣,增強學習英語的信心,體驗學習的快樂。
教學重點:
掌握介紹城市特點的基本句型。
教學難點:
讓學生在自己已有的知識范圍內更進一步學習其他城市的特點,而且要說出這些城市的特征。
教具準備:
地方風景卡片
教學過程:
一、熱身
T: Class begins . Good morning boys and girls . How are you?
Ss: I’m fine, thank you . And how are you?
T: I’m fine , too . Thank you.
二、課文導入
T: Boys and girls , today , I take many photos about some interesting places . Please guess , where are they?
Ss: Oh , great!
T: First , let’s look at this one . (I take out a picture of Beijing. )Do you know where is it?
Ss: Oh , that’s Beijing.
T: Yes , you are very clever . And look at this picture . (This time, I take out a picture of Kunming.) Where is it?
(And then show them the pictures of Harbin , Hong Kong and Guilin , and ask them “Where is it?” and the students can speak out the names of the places. )
T: Just now , we saw many places . And they are all famours cities , Do you want to go to these cities? (板書:Do you want to go to___________ ?)For . example : Do you want to go to Guilin?
(板書并重復讀句子:Do you want to go to Guilin?)
Ss: Yes , I do .
T: Oh , you all want to go to Guilin , but , why ? Why do you all want to go to Guilin?
(引導學生讀并板書:Because Guilin is …。)
Ss: Because Guilin is very beautiful.
T: Yes , very good , and what else ?
(學生思考)
Some students says : Guilin is big and famous.
T: Yes , you are right . We all know Guilin is very famous , because “桂林山水甲天下”。 Yes?
Ss: Yes .
T: So we can say : There are lots of beautiful mountains and lakes in Guilin . (邊讀邊板書)Yes or no ?
